Family Volunteer Fair

A Family Volunteer Fair sponsored by the Washington County Commission on Children and Families and Hands on Greater Portland will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Tigard High School.

The fair will offer families an opportunity to learn about a variety of fun ways they can help in their community.

Activities at the fair will range from writing letters to home bound seniors, to filling food boxes, to helping with groundskeeping projects around the school campus, and other projects. Additionally, families will be able to learn about other volunteer opportunities available at area non-profits, as well as about a variety of community resources for families.
