2022 Legislative Agendas

Board-approved agendas for the 2022 legislative session and 117th Congress.

The Board of County Commissioners recently approved the agenda for Washington County for the 2022 session of the Oregon State Legislature as well as the agenda for the current session of the U.S. Congress.
 
The Washington County State Legislative Agenda for 2022 focuses on three priorities: 

• Provide long-term COVID-19 response and recovery for our communities. 
• Restore funding to, and cost recovery for, County programs and services with a focus on the County Law Library and Juvenile Conciliation Services. 
• Secure long-term stability of revenues provided to the county by the state that offsets investments of local revenues.

The Federal Agenda includes priorities that have been selected in collaboration with Clean Water Services, county department heads and community leaders and are identified as advancing the core services and values of the county.
