Bob Terry 
Commissioner Bob Terry represents District 4, a large portion of the rural area of  Washington County including Banks, Cornelius, Forest Grove, Gaston, Hillsboro and North Plains. Commissioner Terry was sworn into the Washington County Board of Commissioners in January 2011. 
Since 1996, Commissioner Terry owned Fisher Farms, a regional provider of value-added nursery stock employing over 200 people and based in rural Washington County. He retired from Fisher Farms in 2016.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Commissioner Terry served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1966, including deployment aboard the supercarrier USS America. At the end of his military service, Mr. Terry resumed his education at Jefferson College, Hillsboro, MO, and attended the University of Chicago.
Commissioner Terry has a long history of service with various community and nursery industry associations such as the Oregon Association of Nurseries and the American Nursery and Landscape Association. Other past community and public service work include being the Chair and President of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and Chair and founder of the Hillsboro Oregon International Airshow. Commissioner Terry also served on the Washington County Budget Committee for 12 years prior to being elected.
