Board of Commissioners issue LGBTQ Pride Month Proclamation
Earlier this week, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed June 2021 as LGBTQ Pride Month in Washington County. The proclamation was read in turn by members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community, including those who serve in the County organization. The Board encourages everyone to celebrate the lives of our LGBTQ+ neighbors and friends, and to work together to create a more inclusive society that values everyone, no matter who they are and who they love.
