Crime Victims Rights Week - 2014

Release date: 04/01/2014
Sponsored by: Board of Commissioners

The District Attorney's Office partners with a number of county departments, non-profit organizations and law enforcement agencies to provide services to victims of crime in Washington County.  The victims' services providers in Washington County include the District Attorney's Victim Assistance Program, Community Corrections' Center for Counseling and Victims' Services, the Juvenile Department, the Elder Safe Program, the Domestic Violence Resource Center, the Sexual Assault Resource Center, and Beaverton and Hillsboro Police Agencies.  Representatives from these programs work to assist victims through the criminal justice system, inform them of their rights as a victim and to enforce those rights.  Victims' services providers also network to fill service gaps and seek out opportunities to educate citizens about crime victims' rights.

Read the proclamation.
