Board of Commissioners issue Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation
Earlier this week, the Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation dedicating the 30-day period between September 15 and October 15, 2021 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Washington County.
In recognition of this year’s theme, “Esperanza: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Hope,” we honor the legacy of Latinx people throughout our nation’s history and their significant and diverse contributions to the cultural, educational, economic and political vitality of our community.
