Mental Health Response Team

The Mental Health Response Team (MHRT) program pairs a trained crisis clinician with a Washington County Sheriff's Office deputy in a patrol car and together they respond to mental health calls for service. The Mental Health Response Team provides direct collaboration between dedicated law enforcement officers and behavioral health professionals for the best outcomes in emergency situations. At this time, MHRT is available every day from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and takes referrals from Washington County 9-1-1, as well as requests from city police agencies in Washington County.

For more information, please see the MHRT page on the Sheriff's Office website.
