Help for Those Without Insurance

Find out if you qualify for county-funded treatment for mental health concerns.

Services may be accessed by calling 503-291-9111

Everyone needs a little help sometimes. Mental illness is common, and treatment is available.

Mental health treatment is usually covered by insurance. If you do not have coverage, we may be able to help. Washington County has some funds to pay for mental health services. To qualify, you must:

  • Be a Washington County resident
  • Have a low income
  • Have limited or no insurance
  • Have mental health needs that cannot be addressed by other community resources

We contract with local providers to provide free treatment. The services available may vary. Priority is given to individuals with the most severe conditions and fewest resources.
