Reporting Abuse or Neglect
Individuals who have a mental illness or substance use disorder can be vulnerable to mistreatment by others. Abuse can take many forms including verbal, physical and sexual abuse. Abuse can take other forms as well, including financial exploitation or caregiver neglect.
If you believe or suspect abuse or neglect of an individual, you may report directly to the Washington County Behavioral Health Protective Services by one of these three ways:
