Policies and Procedures
Washington County is responsible for providing medically appropriate mental health services for county residents enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan.
Within available resources, Washington County also provides medically appropriate mental health services to low-income adults and children with a mental health diagnosis with no insurance coverage or exhausted benefits. Services are provided to those most in need, defined by history of use of high levels of care, poor functioning, dangerousness, community impact, and/or multi-systemic involvement.
