Child and Adolescent

When to Consider Behavioral Health Services

When symptoms or behaviors regularly interfere with a child or adolescent doing things typical for their age (such as attending child care or school, sleeping, going on family outings, playing with peers, etc.).

When parents/caregivers feel isolated and unable to run errands, go to religious services or attend activities with friends and family because of the child or adolescent’s symptoms or behaviors.

When symptoms or behavior are persistent, and despite the parent/caregiver’s best efforts to help their child or adolescent the symptoms or behaviors don’t seem to be improving.
