Supportive Housing

Staff and participants spend time together at the Aloha Bridge Shelter and future Permanent Supportive Housing

Supportive Housing programs ensure ongoing support and stability for people who have recently moved into an apartment and are learning to live inside and recover. These programs set aside apartments for referrals through the Community Connect system and in partnership with service provider organizations working with the future tenants. The onsite programs provide resident services, desk and maintenance staff, and other wrap around supports to ensure long term stability for new tenants.

By partnering with as many as 14 new affordable apartment buildings being developed through the Regional Affordable Housing Bond, the SHS program hopes to establish hundreds of apartment homes set aside and supported for people who have experienced prolonged homelessness.
