Breweries and Cideries

Ordinance No. 864 amends the Community Development Code (CDC) to address changes in state law that the County must implement to allow cider businesses and farm breweries and associated activities in exclusive farm use districts (EFU and AF-20). The ordinance also makes minor amendments to accommodate the added uses.

Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Expansion Areas

Ordinance No. 865 proposes to amend the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area (CFP), the Rural/Natural Resource Plan (RNRP), the Aloha-Reedville-Cooper Mountain Community Plan, the Bull Mountain Community Plan, the East Hillsboro Community Plan and the West Union Community Plan to address the approval by Metro Council and subsequent acknowledgement by the Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) to expand the urban growth boundary (UGB) in four locations in Washington County.

Ordinance No. 869 proposes to amend the CDC related to significant natural resources in the development review process, adopt clear and objective standards for tree preservation and removal requirements within significant natural resource areas and allow protected habitat areas to meet open space requirements in planned developments.
