Comment on the 74th Avenue and Alden Street pedestrian improvement projects in an online open house available through Dec. 28.
The 74th Avenue Pedestrian Improvement project involves constructing a new sidewalk along one side of 74th Avenue, between Alden Street and 7680 SW 74th Ave. ADA-compliant ramps will also be constructed.
The Alden Street Pedestrian Improvement Project involves constructing a new sidewalk along one side of Alden Street, between 74th and 80th avenues, as well as ADA-compliant curb ramps.
Both projects are funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD). The project on 74th Avenue is estimated at $1.46 million and the project on Alden Street is estimated at $1.4 million.
