UPDATE: 92nd Avenue final paving July 25 -- Expect delays
UPDATED: 07/24/2014
Sponsored by: Department of Land Use and Transportation, Engineering and Construction Services Division
PavingThe paving contractor will be able to conduct this final paving work on 92nd Avenue this Friday, July 25. As a result, no paving work is anticipated on Saturday.

Original release:

A contractor for Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will perform final paving work on 92nd Avenue between Garden Home Road and Allen Boulevard on Saturday, July 26 (now changed to July 25), between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes or expect potentially long delays.

Due to the limited road width, flaggers will alternate one direction of traffic at a time and will do their best to move traffic in both directions through the area as quickly and safely as possible. Paving work is weather dependent and will be postponed if the weather changes from the current forecast.

This Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) safety improvement project is adding a five-foot widened shoulder to the east side of 92nd Avenue between Garden Home Road and the Fanno Creek Trail near Allen Boulevard.
