Improvements are planned for the intersection of Nehalem Highway (OR-47/Main Street) with Banks and Cedar Canyon roads, at the north end of the city of Banks. The proposed traffic signal will improve traffic flow and increase safety for all road users.

Construction is expected to start in summer 2022 and finish in spring 2023.

The cost of the project is $5 million, funded through Washington County’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP 3e).
