The $610,000 project, funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD), connects sidewalk gaps on the west side of Ecole Avenue, between Jenkins Road and Brightwood Street. ADA-compliant ramps, utility relocation, stormwater drainage improvements and stormwater treatment facilities are also included in this project.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early August, with completion anticipated by Oct. 30. Intermittent weekday lane closures, between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., are expected.
