Open house for Madeline Street is Oct. 16

The public is invited to comment on sidewalk improvements planned for Madeline Street at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Aloha High School, 18550 SW Kinnaman Road.

This project includes a sidewalk on one side of Madeline Street, between 180th and 192nd avenues. The pedestrian crossing at 185th Avenue and Madeline Street will also be realigned. Updated project exhibits will be available online starting Oct. 16.

The Madeline Street sidewalk project is in the design phase. Construction is anticipated for 2019. Project dates are estimates and subject to change.

The estimated $901,000 project is funded through the County's Urban Roads Maintenance District (URMD).
