Open house for Madeline Street sidewalk project is Dec. 4
For Immediate Release: Monday, November 19, 2018
This open house is being held in response to requests for more detailed design options for sidewalks on both the north and south sides of the street between 192nd Avenue and Aloha High School. In addition to this sidewalk segment, the project calls for:
- A sidewalk on one side of Madeline Street, between 180th and 192nd avenues.
- A sidewalk on the north side of Madeline Street, between 180th and 185th avenues.
- Realignment of the pedestrian crossing at 185th Avenue and Madeline Street.
Construction is expected in 2019. Project dates are estimates and subject to change.
The estimated $901,000 project is funded through the County's Urban Roads Maintenance District (URMD).
