Comment on the Phillips Road Bridge Replacement Project at an online open house through March 14.

The bridge on Phillips Road, west of Dick Road, will be replaced with a concrete box culvert. The timber bridge has reached the end of its useful life. The culvert is cost-effective and can be installed more quickly than a bridge, using pre-cast concrete pieces.

A four-to-six-week closure of Phillips Road is expected this summer. The traffic detour uses Old Cornelius Pass, Cornelius Pass, West Union and Helvetia roads.

Cost of the project is estimated at $666,000, funded through the County's Road Fund.
