The Roy Rogers Road Improvement Project open house, originally planned for April, has been rescheduled due to COVID-19.
The open house will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Sherwood Police Department Community Room, 20495 SW Borchers Drive.
In addition, an online open house will be held for two weeks in May to provide additional opportunities to learn about the project and to share comments. Details will be announced in early May.
Design alternatives for Roy Rogers Road, between Borchers Drive and Chicken Creek, will be displayed at both the in person and online open houses. The design team will be available to answer questions and gather feedback.
Comments and questions may be sent to email@example.com.
Roy Rogers Road will be widened, between Chicken Creek and Borchers Drive. Improvements include:
- Five travel lanes (two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane)
- Bike lanes
- Storm drainage
- Street lighting
The estimated $14 million project is funded through the County’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP). Construction is expected to begin in summer 2021 and continue through the summer 2023.
This project is being coordinated with the Willamette Water Supply Program to install a 66-inch water line in conjunction with road improvements.
