Board approves eight URMD Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects

Click here to enlargeFunding for eight Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects was approved for design and early planning by the Washington County Board of Commissioners during its Nov. 21 meeting.

The projects, totaling $6.6 million, are funded through the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD) and will improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety. Projects approved for funding are as follows:

The Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee selected the projects unanimously following a public comment period.
