Activity Update 10/29/2018: Grahams Ferry Road has reopened. Tonquin Road will remain closed at Grahams Ferry Road until 124th Avenue opens, anticipated by Dec. 31, 2018. Detour
Activity Update 10/26/2018: Grahams Ferry Road will remain closed until Nov. 30 due to problems with striping. 124th Avenue is expected to open in January 2019. The celebration will be held in October to avoid inclement weather.
Activity Update 10/8/2018:A celebration for the Washington County 124th Avenue Extension project and the installation of the largest section of the Willamette Water Supply Program pipeline will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. Media release
Activity Update 10/2/2018: The Grahams Ferry and Tonquin roads intersection remains closed for completion of waterline installation. Open access locations to valves in the road remain a safety hazard; do not remove or drive around barricades. Grahams Ferry will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so, approximately Oct. 30.
Activity Update 9/26/2018: Grahams Ferry Road closure has been extended to Oct. 30 in order to complete paving and striping.
Activity Update 8/8/2018: Tonquin Road has reopened at the rail crossing. Grahams Ferry remains closed at Tonquin Road through Sept. 30.

Activity Update 1/30/2018: Tonquin Road will be closed between Waldo Way and 124th Avenue through Feb. 28, 2018.(Extended to April 30.)
Activity Update 6/29/2017: Morgan Road will be closed at Tonquin Road 8 p.m. July 7-5 a.m. July 10. Media release
Activity Update 4/5/2017: Morgan Road closure has been postpone until May, the date dependent on weather.
Activity Update 3/29/2017: Morgan Road will be temporarily closed at Tonquin Road for grade adjustments to meet Tonquin Road's new alignment. Media release
Activity Update 9/2016: A detour has been built on Tonquin Road to allow the contractor to construct the realignment of Tonquin Road with the new intersection at SW 124th Avenue. Mechanically stabilized walls are also being built on either side of the railroad to carry the road over the track. Bridge construction is anticipated to begin this winter.
Activity Update 7/26/2016: Flagging hours on Tonquin Road will be temporarily extended to 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Thursday, July 28. The change in flagging hours will help construction crews to complete the detour sooner than scheduled. Crews are aiming to keep traffic delays to no longer than 10 minutes. If the impact of extended flagging hours becomes too severe, crews will revert to the previous hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activity Update 5/31/2016: Utility work begins June 6 on Grahams Ferry Rd between Day Rd and Tonquin Rd and is expected to continue until August. Utility flaggers will direct traffic through lane restrictions.

Work on the following segments will begin this month:
- 124th Avenue from Tualatin-Sherwood Road to SW Tonquin Road
- Basalt Creek Parkway from Tonquin Road to Grahams Ferry Road
- Tonquin Road improvements west of the new intersection with 124th Avenue
- Grahams Ferry Road improvements from Day Road to Basalt Creek Parkway may also be included in this phase.
Construction on Tonquin Road east of 124th Avenue to Grahams Ferry Road, as well as the intersection upgrades at Grahams Ferry Road are anticipated to begin Sep. 2017, once Basalt Creek Parkway is open to traffic.
Completion for the entire project is anticipated to occur by fall 2018.
