Activity Update 12/27/2018: Intermittent lane closures from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays will continue through Jan. 31, 2019, due to underground utility conflicts. Permanent striping and safety markings will be installed in spring 2019.
Activity Update 11/16/2018: The 175th Avenue and Kemmer Road roundabout opened late Nov. 15. Work remaining includes connection of street lights to a permanent electrical source by PGE and landscaping. Permanent striping and safety markings will be installed in spring 2019.
Activity Update: 10/26/2018: The 175th Avenue/Kemmer Road intersection closure has been delayed to Nov. 1-16. The Kemmer Road closure, between 175th and 176th avenues, will be extended through Nov. 16. Media release Detour
Activity Update 10/22/2018: From Oct. 29-Nov. 13, 175th Avenue will be closed at Kemmer Road for construction of a roundabout. Media release
Activity Update 4/10/2018: Construction is set to begin April 16 with lane closures 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays April 16 through August 31. Two closures will be scheduled later in construction. Media release
Activity Update 2/22/2018: Construction contract for the 175th Avenue/Kemmer Road project has been awarded to Kerr Contractors by the Board of County Commissioners at their Feb. 20, 2018 meeting.

Activity Update 7/5/2016: Staff completed the alternatives analysis, which includes feedback from the April open house. The roundabout alternative was selected and will be advanced to the next stage of design. A second open house will be scheduled when the design plans are 75% complete.

This project is currently in the preliminary design phase. Construction is anticipated to occur in 2018.
