Project Description

175th Avenue between Scholls Ferry Road and Alvord Lane was a two-lane roadway that lacked dedicated bicycle and pedestrian facilities and street lighting.

Over the course of development on the west and east sides of the road, 175th Avenue from Scholls Ferry Road to 500 feet south of Alvord Lane, was widened to two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. Additional improvements included continuous bicycle and pedestrian facilities, street lighting and storm drainage upgrades. A traffic signal was installed at the new high school's entrance.
