Beef Bend Road Culvert

Project Description

Two culverts, near SW 146th Avenue under SW Beef Bend Road, failed in December 2015 and again in December 2016.

The two culverts were replaced with a single concrete arch culvert.

A sidewalk was also installed on the north side of the road, completing sidewalk connectivity between 146th Avenue and Westminster Drive. Sidewalks ramps at 146th Avenue were updated to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

This project included installation of a section of waterline for the city of Tigard.

Clean Water Services installed sanitary sewer force main along Beef Bend Road in 2018, prior to the culvert replacement.

Funding Information

The $2.5 million project will be funded through the Federal Highway Administration's Emergency Relief Program and the County's Road Fund.
