Activity Update 1/25/17: Paving scheduled today for Gales Creek Road bridge, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lane changes will occur in the next week.

Activity Update 10/14/16: The Gales Creek Bridge work zone will be expanding to allow roadway construction on each side of the bridge. The expanded work zone will result in the traffic signals moving further apart from one another.

Activity Update 6/28/16: The County's contractor is onsite beginning clearing operations for the bridge replacement project. Beginning June 29 traffic will be restricted to one lane beginning 500 feet south of Old Wilson River Highway past the Gales Creek Bridge. Temporary traffic signals will be installed to control traffic to cross over the bridge one direction at a time during construction. Plan accordingly as delays should be expected during the project period (June - November 2016).
