Project Update 9/18/2020: Jean Louise Road is expected to close Sept. 28-Oct. 7 for waterline installation. Detour

Project Update 9/15/2020: Roy Rogers Road night work start has been delayed until the evening of Sept. 17, depending on air quality.

Jean Louise Road between Roy Rogers Road and 172nd Avenue is expected to close Sept. 23-Oct. 3 for water line installation. Media release  Detour


Project Update 9/3/2020: Roy Rogers Road between Scholls Ferry and Appledale roads will have lane closures with nighttime work Sept. 14-26 for installation of a water line across the road. Expect delays.


Project Update 8/14/2020: The right turn lane from Scholls Ferry Road (eastbound) to Roy Rogers Road (southbound) remains closed through Aug. 31.

Project Update 10/30/2019: A new traffic pattern is in place on Roy Rogers Road. Additional signs were added, warning travelers on 175th Avenue of the change.

Excavation for the waterline can now begin. Increased noise and truck traffic is expected.

Project Update 5/6/2019: Nighttime lane closures will take place 8 p.m.-5 a.m. May 9-10 for installation of a sewer line across Roy Rogers Road.


Project Update 2/21/2019: Storm and sanitary sewer installation is in progress. Bridge widening is expected to begin in the next two weeks.


Activity Update 11/16/2018: Construction begins Dec. 3. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during construction.

Activity Updated 6/30/16: Staff has completed their alternatives analysis, which included feedback from the May 2016 open house. Recommendations include the 8 foot buffered bike lane for the final design.
