Following a multi-year planning and development process, we are excited to replace our current website on September 26 with a new design that will serve as a digital gateway to a wide variety of public services and information.

Latino Advisory Commission

Latinos make up the largest ethnic group that have resided in Washington County the longest. They continue to be disproportionately overrepresented in policing enforcement, incarceration rates, and referrals to the juvenile justice system. The Advisory Commission was established in 2020 to address these issues and to build trust between the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Latino community.

Establishing an ongoing partnership is an important step in meeting the public safety needs of the entire community.

The Commission meets every first Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 p.m. For more information on membership, how to provide public comment, and Zoom link please contact Joann Hoffman or visit the Washington County's Community Boards and Commissions web page.

If you have a question, please email  or by phone at 503-846-2762.
