Spring 2018 - Scoggins Valley Park's two boat ramp locations, C-Ramp and Eagle Point Recreation Areas, will be temporarily closed this spring for renovation. Roughly 468,000 square feet of drive aisles and parking areas will be resurfaced, hundreds of parking stalls will be restriped crosswalks, stenciling, and travel direction arrows will be repainted. Safety curbing will be added in specific locations and pavement failures will be repaired. This major maintenance work will require complete closure for the recreation areas for up to seven days each. The work at the two locations will be completed at different times so that one boat ramp will always be accessible to the public.

C-Ramp Recreation Area will be closed April 30 –May 4 for paving. Boaters should use Eagle Point Recreation Area for launching during that time.

Eagle Point Recreation Area closure dates have not been scheduled but are anticipated to be in late May or Early June.

Funding for this project is provided by Washington County, a grant from the Oregon State Marine Board Boating Facility Grant Program which invests fees and taxes paid by motorized boaters for boating facility improvements and a grant from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife which partially funded the project through the Oregon Fisheries Restoration and  enhancement Act of 1989.
