Mental Health and Community Psyche Grant

Notice: The County has allocated and spent all of the remaining funds from the CARES Act CRF allocation from the US Treasury. All programs funded by CARES Act-CRF are now closed and completed. Please check back on our Grants Management home page for future grant opportunities.

The Mental Health & Community Psyche program partners with local municipalities and special districts to build public mental health and the community psyche during the COVID-19 public health emergency which has suffered from the cancellation of most community activities and events that residents enjoy attending in their leisure time. Events and activities have either been cancelled, shut down, significantly downsized, or underattended due to temporary restrictions on gatherings, fear of catching or transmitting the COVID-19 virus, or other pandemic-related reasons.

This program funds community, group, or individual events and activities in accordance with public health guidance and is designed to boost community and individual mental health and psyche. These events are being convened in each County Commissioner District by local municipalities and special districts.
