The Washington County Purchasing Division monitors the County purchasing processes. We are dedicated to developing and maintaining public and vendor trust through fair, ethical, and competitive procurement practices. As providers of vital public services, Washington County's charge is to know, respect, reflect and serve the diverse people of Washington County. Critical to that effort is a clear and honest assessment of our internal culture and a commitment to continuous improvement regarding diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within our organizational structure.

To review the Purchasing Division policies and procedures on how to do business with the County, see the "Supplier's Guide."  The Washington County Purchasing Division is responsible for posting and publishing current solicitation opportunities such as Request for Quotes, Invitation to Bids, and Request for Proposals.

We do not send solicitation documents via e-mail from our office, instead we use an online submission portal called ProcureNow. For instructions on how to search for or upload bids on ProcureNow follow this link: Washington County ProcureNow e-Submission Instructions

Note to all Potential Bidders to County Procurement Solicitations:

Bids will only be accepted via ProcureNow unless otherwise stated in the solicitation document. Vendors and contractors are solely responsible for their own online account security on ProcureNow.

All submission date and time are based on ProcureNow audit log entries, therefore it is strongly recommended for all contractors and vendors to submit their bids as early as possible. Late submissions will not be accepted unless otherwise stated in the solicitation document.
