Washington County employees engage in sustainable action every day - each year around Earth Week, we host special events to celebrate that success and encourage progress.

This year, the County Energy Team will lead a collaboration with the Sustainability Liaisons to host the following events...


Energy Hunt All Month!

  • Gather your team and prepare for the hunt!
  • A scavenger hunt list will be posted on Horizons weekly.
  • Submit your photos for fun and fame.
  • Pick up a memento during the April 26th Energy Fair.

Green Bag Lunch: Food, Water and Energy Connections

  • to learn about the food-water-energy connection.
  • Share a Salad! Sustainability will provide greens & dishes for a salad bar - bring a topping of your choice to share. BYOB.
