The Law Library serves attorneys, litigants, and others who need or want to research the law.
The Law Library is open to the public.
The Law Library's collection is for research only and reference materials may not be checked out.
The collection includes Oregon and federal online and print legal research materials.
HOW CAN I USE THE LAW LIBRARY?
VISIT: The Law Library is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.*Note: The Law Library must occasionally open late, close early, or close from 12:00-1:00pm. Please feel free to call ahead to confirm that the Law Library is open.*
The Law Library is located in the Washington County Juvenile Services Building. Links to directions and maps can be found on our Library Information webpage and from the Juvenile Services Building directory.
SEE US IN BEAVERTON OR TIGARD: A law librarian will be at the Beaverton City Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 3pm to 7pm, and at the Tigard Public Library the second Thursday of the month from 3pm to 7pm. See our press release for more information.
EXPLORE ONLINE: Wander through the Law Library's webpages and the Oregon Legal Research website and blog, but don't ignore Washington County's other webpages. You may find just what you need at Animal Services, the Juvenile Department, Veterans Services, and elsewhere.
