Washington County elections officials are asking voters who have not yet voted to drop off their ballots at official collection sites as soon as possible so that all ballots are processed in a timely manner. All ballot drop off sites at various libraries throughout the county (except for Garden Home) are now located outdoors and accessible 24 hours per day. Please do not deposit any ballots or election materials into book returns, use only the officially designated drop box. (To access the Garden Home Library drop box, check this link for their hours of operation https://www.wccls.org/libraries/gardenhome.) The deadline for voting is 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18.

With only a few days left in this vote-by-mail election period, Washington County has received 54,932 ballots so far, or about 14.3 percent of all registered voters in the county. For information about vote-by-mail, voter eligibility and other election matters, you can either check the Washington County Elections Office website, email us at [email protected], or call 503-846-5800.
